Hit-and-run accidents are too common in today’s society. The only way to protect you and your family is by including uninsured motorist coverage on your automobile insurance coverage. Uninsured motorist coverage protects you and the occupants of your vehicle should you be in a collision with a hit-and-run vehicle. We recommend to all Kentuckians to get as much uninsured motorist coverage as you can afford. If you are in a collision with a vehicle that flees the scene of the accident and the vehicle cannot be tracked down, an uninsured motorist is meant to cover your medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, among other damages, under such circumstances.
