19-Year-Old Was Victim in Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Two Tractor-Trailers in Oldham County

Some very sad news, according to WHAS11, 19-year-old Sean Ingalls of West Chester, Ohio, was pronounced dead at the scene of a tragic crash in Oldham County. The accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-71 around 2:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Oldham County Police responded to the accident and said the accident involved a Subaru, driven by Sean Ingalls, and two tractor trailers, with one of them catching fire. An investigation is ongoing as the exact cause of the accident is not yet known.

Unfortunately, crashes involving a car or SUV with a tractor-trailer do not usually end well for those occupying the car or SUV. Due to their massive size, tractor-trailers and other large trucks can be particularly dangerous when they collide with a car or SUV. 18-wheeler accidents are not just like regular car crashes. The process of pursuing a claim following a tractor-trailer accident can be very exhausting. Commercial insurance companies will go to great lengths to make the process difficult for injury victims or their families (in the event the victim passed away in the accident). Trucking accidents are very complex for several reasons.

Because trucking accidents can be so complex, it is wise to retain a truck accident lawyer.
