We are proud to present the Meagher Injury Lawyers, PLLC, Thad Meagher Emerging Influencers Scholarship. In memory of his brother, Kentucky personal injury attorney Tate Meagher of the Meagher Injury Lawyers, is offering a scholarship to graduating high school seniors. Tate always looked up to his older brother Thad who brought so much joy and laughter to others. Thad never met a stranger. Thad was very supportive of Tate and encouraged him to never be afraid to “stick your neck out” and try new things. Thad has been a major influence on Tate.
In loving memory of Thad, Meagher Injury Lawyers is sponsoring the annual Thad Meagher Emerging Influencers Scholarship. One student will be awarded $1,000. To apply all eligibility requirements must be met, including creating a video no more than 90 seconds long discussing how someone in your life has had a positive influence on you and how you plan to pass on what you have learned from your influencer to others. We encourage creativity in making the video. The deadline to submit a video for the contest is May 26, 2023.
Eligibility Requirements:- The student must be a Kentucky resident.
- The student must be a high school senior graduating in 2023.
- The student must be in good academic standing at school.
- The student must plan to pursue a post-secondary degree after high school graduation.
- The student must submit proof of age via a copy of their driver’s license or birth certificate.
- The student must submit a self-portrait photo.
- Submit a biography in PDF format to Meagher Injury Lawyers, PLLC telling us about yourself. The biography should be no more than 300 words in length. This document should include your name and contact information, including email address and phone number, and include a statement regarding the college you plan to attend in the Fall of 2023. If a final college decision has not yet been made, please note the colleges you are still considering.
- Submit a video no more than 90 seconds in length discussing how someone in your life has had a positive influence on you and how you plan to pass on what you have learned from your influencer to others.
Award: One Student will be awarded $1,000; nonrenewable to be paid directly to college or university admissions office.

Influencers Scholarship
Students must use the application form on this page to upload their videos and submit them for the contest. The student should send information, including:
- Submit a photograph copy of your driver’s license or birth certificate.
- Submit a self-portrait photo.
- Submit a short biography in PDF format telling us about yourself. The biography must be no more than 300 words in length. This document should include your name and contact information, including email address and phone number, and include a statement regarding the college you plan to attend in the Fall of 2023. If a final college decision has not yet been made, please note the colleges you are still considering.
- Submit a video no more than 90 seconds in length discussing how someone in your life has had a positive influence on you and how you plan to pass on what you have learned from your influencer to others.
We will not share your personal information with anyone. However, by applying for the Thad Meagher Scholarship you acknowledge that your name, high school, future college, submitted video, submitted photo, your image, and your likeness may be published on the Meagher Injury Lawyers, PLLC web site, Facebook page, and Instagram page.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is May 26, 2023. Any applications submitted after this date will not be considered.

We are excited to announce Kennedy Nickelman as the winner of the first annual Meagher Injury Lawyers Thad Meagher Emerging Influencers Scholarship. Kennedy just graduated from Highlands High School in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. Her friend (and cheerleading teammate) Lilliana (who sadly passed away three years ago) has had a major influence on her life. Lilliana always had a positive attitude with a smile on her face, always put others before herself, and was always ready to work hard. Kennedy inspires to carry on these attributes that Lilliana possessed. Kennedy volunteers at numerous local events and organizations. She will be attending the University of Cincinnati as a nursing major this Fall. We are honored to present her with this scholarship.
