Pedestrians include individuals who are not only walking but also people traveling by wheelchair, pushing or being pushed in a stroller, or traveling by other similar means. If you or a loved one have suffered injuries as a pedestrian, there are several damages you may be entitled to, including, but not limited to past and future medical expenses, lost wages, impairment to your ability to earn an income in the future, and past and future pain and suffering.

For children, the impact of a pedestrian collision can be catastrophic. Due to their small size, children are at a higher risk of serious injury or death. As drivers, adults need to pay extra attention to all pedestrians on the roadway, especially in areas where children are to be present, like school zones and neighborhoods where children are likely to be present. Drivers in such areas should strictly comply with speed limits, use caution at crosswalks, and use due care to reduce the risk of a child pedestrian accident.
