Per the Lexington Herald Leader, sixty-year-old Frances Beverly passed away as a result of a single-vehicle collision in Henry County on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Kentucky State Police received a 911 call about the wreck. Kentucky State Police has revealed that Beverly was headed south on Port Royal Road in a Jeep when she was unable to complete a turn, causing her vehicle to go off the road and strike a tree.

I recently had a case where my young adult client was a passenger in a vehicle that struck a tree under similar facts in a one-vehicle accident. My client sustained significant injuries. We were able to settle the case for the at-fault driver’s policy limits plus the underinsured motorist policy limits of my client’s parents’ automobile insurance policy since my young adult client still resided with his parents. In Kentucky, one is entitled to make a claim for uninsured or underinsured motorist benefits under an automobile insurance policy of any relative in which they reside with. This coverage can be crucial if you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident and don’t own a vehicle yourself.
