Some very tragic news. According to WAVE3, a fatal wreck on US 68 in Marion County is being investigated by Kentucky State Police. Around 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022, Kentucky State Police troopers responded to the two-vehicle injury wreck. The initial investigation revealed that 32-year-old Matthew Brady was traveling west on US 68 when he went over the centerline and hit a car head-on that was traveling east on US 68. The second vehicle was operated by 46-year-old Timothy Mays. Brady and the passenger in his vehicle, 33-year-old Amber Perez, were found dead at the scene. A minor passenger in Brady’s vehicle was transported to the hospital but, unfortunately, also passed away.
