Per WDRB, a man has lost his life in a motorcycle collision on Preston Highway that occurred on the evening of Tuesday, August 30, 2022, around 6:00 p.m. Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the crash that occurred on Preston Highway and Oaklawn Drive. It is believed that a car driving southbound on Preston Highway tried to make a left turn onto Oaklawn Drive when the motorcyclist struck the car while the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Preston Highway. It is believed that speed may have played a factor in the crash as well. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
