Right now, with warmer weather, our firm is seeing a troubling trend. Motorcyclists are back on the road again, enjoying the freedom of the open road as they have every right to do. However, other vehicle drivers have not seen motorcyclists on the roadways for some time now, so their natural awareness is low.
The Complication of Cell Phone Use
This issue is further complicated by the use of cell phones while driving. In my many years of experience with motorcycle injuries, one thing stands out: motorcycle injuries are devastating and debilitating not only to the rider but to those who love them as well, like their spouse and children who rely on them.
A Plea for Safety
As a friend, a Louisville neighbor, and a lawyer, I’m asking you: please take that look; please put your cell phones down; and please be aware. For my friends riding the open roads, ride safe.
