Tate was born and raised in Louisville. He started his legal career at an insurance defense firm, representing insurance companies against people seeking compensation for their injuries.
He later worked in insurance subrogation and healthcare compliance. Those years showed him how claims are valued, where they get stuck, and why so many injured people are underpaid.
He opened Meagher Injury Lawyers to represent people instead of insurers. The firm is dedicated to the memory of his older brother, Thad, who had a gift for connecting with people. Tate holds the firm to that standard: strong relationships and personal attention on every case.
